The Birchmont

I am so excited I could throw up a little.

My nephew, Kaleb, has qualified for the 85th Annual Birchmont Golf Tournament this year in the Junior Division. Go here to check it out. This annual tournament showcases all our local talent, as well as a few out-of-towners. It's a very prestigious thing, and I am so proud of him that he made it through.

Kaleb has been playing on his high school team for the last two years, and apparently he is pretty darn good. But I didn't even know he was in the tournament until I saw his name in our local paper!

He is such a good kid. Beyond being extremely talented sports-wise, playing hockey and golf, he is just a wonderful young man. He is kind, and loving, and always has a hug for you. My brother and sister-in-law have done such a great job of raising him (and my niece, Savanna).

Good luck, Kaleb!!! We are all rooting for you, even if you don't want us to come watch and make you even more nervous!

RESULTS!!! Kaleb lost by one stroke on the final hole. But he's still a winner in our hearts!
